A little history

The cornerstone of today’s Fidinter Group was laid on October 1, 1918 with the incorporation of the general partnership Jeanrenaud & Hegnauer, headquartered at Rue Pichard 3 in Lausanne. This makes our fiduciary one of the oldest in French-speaking Switzerland.

The first change came on January 31, 1929, when the SNC was transformed into a public limited company with capital of CHF 200,000, under the name Jean Hegnauer Fiduciaire SA. As the company evolved, it underwent further name changes (Fiduciaire Privée SA in 1939, Fidinter SA Société Fiduciaire in 1968 and finally Fidinter SA in 2005).

Since the company’s foundation, Fidinter’s loyal clientele has included major national companies, and a number of mandates have been carried out on the other side of the Saane. Expansion into German-speaking Switzerland began in early 1985 with the acquisition of President AG in Zurich, which, after several changes, is now known as Fidinter Treuhand AG. A Fidinter AG branch was opened in Zug in May 1993.

In 1995, the Group acquired Fidugems SA, a company with the specific aim of providing accounting and administrative assistance to medico-social and health establishments (EMS) and charitable institutions in the canton of Vaud.

CoFidinter SA was incorporated in August 1998, and is now known as Fiduciaire Fidinter SA.
In 2005, the group adopted its current visual identity, introducing the orange wave logo.
Changes in customer structure and needs, as well as changes in partnership, led to a restructuring of the Group as of November 1, 2007. Subsidiaries acquired over the years were merged and the main structure simplified.
In 2010, growing demand for specialist tax advice led to the creation of Fidinter Fiscalité SA in Lausanne.

The Lausanne and Zurich trusts are each owned by local partners. Their joint subsidiary Fidinter SA is active nationwide as a certified auditor and handles the Group’s public accounting mandates.

The development of our tax consulting activities led to the merger of Fidinter Fiscalité SA with Fiscaplan SA and the acquisition of a minority stake in the latter.

100-year jubilee year. The companies have a staff of around fifty, divided between the Lausanne and Zurich sites. On January 1, Fidinter SA assumed over 400 auditing mandates.

The Fidinter Group continues to grow while cultivating proximity and trust with its customers and partners.
